The Lexus ES is available exclusively as a self-charging hybrid with a 2.5 litre petrol engine and an electric motor which combined produce 215bhp. The ES is not only powerful but also efficient as it is capable of 53.2mpg and CO2 emissions of 119 g/km. 

Lexus Self-Charging Hybrid cars seamlessly select the best power source (petrol or electric mode) based on your driving and journey data. The hybrid system cleverly charges the electric battery whilst driving and recovers energy that would normally be wasted when slowing down through regenerative braking. Using this technology the ES is on average in full EV mode for 45% of a journey.
