My salesman was Peter Stanley and needless to say he was incredibly proactive and professional with everything, from getting the deal done, to the servicing of the car and retrieving it etc. Probably would've looked elsewhere if it wasn't for his service. Will be coming back again.

The pick up and drop off was excellent. However, I was contacted by the service team and asked if I would like my brake fluid changing in accordance with BMW recommendations. I said no thanks. Later in the day I was contacted by service again to say the job had been done as it was "assumed" I would have it done as I pay for services!! Service reception said that because of this the job would be complimentary. Lesson here for Coopers : Don't assume customers will pay for "unnecessary" work. (Most experts agree that a brake fluid change on a car less that 3 yrs old with less than 16K miles is a bit of a sharp one!). Also, please stop sending these gimmicky videos of car inspections! The technicians don't speak clearly and there is too much background noise in the workshop to understand anyway! Waste of time and my money......………......there is no such thing as "complimentary"!!

Main dealers can often get a bad rap but my recent experience in buying a new (used) car at Cooper Chelmsford has been overwhelmingly positive. From the minute I walked in I was treated in a very friendly, courteous and professional manner, from being seen promptly to getting a test drive on the day, managing my trade in with minimum fuss and securing the car before I left. Everything was made very clear and up front by the salesman Peter Stanley, who took the time to answer all my questions and even managed to make handing over a large sum of cash something to look forward to(!) Less than four days after making my first enquiry, I was driving away in my fantastic new BMW. Can’t complain. I’d already made the decision that when the time comes my next car will be another BMW, I’m now pretty much certain it’ll be from Cooper Chelmsford. Thanks, folks!
