The B250e is plug-in-hybrid using a 156bhp 1.3 litre petrol engine and an electric motor producing 101bhp, with a combined output of 215bhp. This allows acceleration from 0-62mph in 6.8 seconds, whilst also being able to drive up to 42 miles on pure electric and achieve up to 235.4 mpg. 

A 7.4kW domestic wallbox will yield a full charge from 10% within 1hr 45min. The car has been designed to minimise compromise, as a result of a rerouted exhaust system and repositioned fuel tank, the installation of the battery does not use up much boot space.
