Went to Burton Inchscape (group 1 as it now is) at the start of August. From making contact on email and phone to turning up, the whole experience was fantastic. I’ve read horror stories on other franchises (not inchscape or group 1) and I can safely say the folk here are great. Friendly and responsive, I put a refundable holding deposit on a car. Viewed it and test drove it and decided to buy. Shout out to Jake who was friendly not pushy, knowledgeable and just a pleasure to deal with. It’s honestly the best experience I have had going into a dealership. The manager at the time Richard was also a lovely chap who was chatting to my father about PHEVS and explaining them like a pro that he has actually changed his mind on them!!! Jake sorted everything out, so when I collected the car it was all ready for me and I could drive away confidently. He has also been on the end of an email to help me with any queries or concerns (although the car is perfect). Despite it being a used car it felt brand new, clean and immaculate throughout. The refundable deposit was back in my account within 2 days after purchasing the car. I was so impressed with the garage that despite it not being my local (it’s about 40 miles away) I am more than likely going to choose to have my service here, as the staff are so brilliant and the reviews speak for themselves.

This review is with regards to the the Toyota branch in Burton on Trent. I recently purchased a used 23plate Toyota Yaris from the Burton Toyota dealer back in May, and as a repeat customer, this dealer has never disappointed. But recently this month (August) they excelled even further. I experienced an incident on the road, where a third party hit the side of my car and dislodged the rear bumper. The damage was only cosmetic, requiring the bumper to be clipped back into place, but I was unable to sort the issue myself. So, I went down to the dealer for help, and was astonished by how sympathetic and forthcoming they were to help. They immediately took the time to review my damage on the car, then proceeded to sort the issue instantly. The repair was sorted very quickly, and without any cost whatsoever to myself. The whole crew were fabulous with making me feel at ease and by offering their total support and consideration. I'm sorry if I cannot remember the names, or spell them properly, but here goes. The Dealer/Sales Manager for his complete, calm caring support throughout the whole sales process and repair issue. Nigel from the repair centre for actually sorting the repair. Josh in the garage/service for his support. Martina the customer liaison lady, for her support, conversation and lovely chats and coffee. Not forgetting Parvinder Kang for actually selling me the car in the first place, and all the time he spent helping me decide on buying the correct car. Thank you all again for your tremendous help. Picked up my Yaris Cross last Monday. This is the 3rd Toyota I have purchased and I have always been pleased with them. Edwin Lin was excellent took me for a test drive and made me feel very much at ease as I had never driven an automatic car. Great customer service.

Everything went well and I enjoyed the facilities of the lounge while I waited for the service. No surprises. I was greeted by the service manager Mick Lynch whom I’ve known for quite a few years. He is aware that I am very particular regarding the long term health of my car and happy to carry out preventative work if necessary. Another job well done and will return for my mot in November. The dealership itself has a reasonable selection of vehicles and we were fortunate enough to get the one that we wanted at a reasonable price. Edwin was very helpful and friendly and we managed to purchase the car, complete with an up-to-date service. We also added an optional extra of front and rear dash cams (not cheap, but we indulged). The trade in on my old car was also fair and reasonable and the whole transaction went through smoothly and very quickly. We were very pleased with the service the dealership gave us and would recommend it.

A truly fantastic group of people at this Toyota dealership. The staff are really friendly and efficient and are on top of things. The building seems new, immaculately clean, comfortable and is a nice place to be in. They're fast and thorough with repairs, great at communication and updates, generous with warranty replacements, there's really not much else you could ask for. A perfect experience, no area that needs improvement. If they can maintain this level of excellence it'll be my favourite go-to dealership/repair centre for years to come and one I'll recommend to everyone.
