Toyota says that “the days of punching the car radio’s channel search button to try to track down the music you like are over” thanks to the app. Toyota’s multimedia package provides customers access to personalised audio streaming in the car using the AUPEO! application.
The new Toyota Yaris is the first model from the Japanese carmaker in Europe to give motorists the chance to tailor their on-board entertainment by using the personalised AUPEO! audio app.
AUDEO! is the first of its kind to be integrated into the Toyota Touch 2 with Go multimedia system and opens up new audio streaming options from a choice of over 200 radio stations.
Now, no matter whether you’re into country or classical, rock or pop, you can be sure that your music needs are covered!
Motorists can tune into their personal radio, with a music feed based on their individual taste. In addition, drivers can select genre stations that focus on particular music types, such as rock, country or pop – so you can listen to your secret guilty pleasures!
A mood tuner is also offered that provides music to suit the mood of the driver, while the Artist Station function takes the music of a favourite performer and others of a similar style.
As the service operates across national boundaries, you can keep in tune with your favourite sounds while on any cross-Continental business or holiday journey.
The AUPEO! Premium Service will be available in the UK from October 2014, with customers able to take advantage of a 30-day free trial package that gives full access to all premium services.
