Introducing the March 21 Plate with Inchcape

Introducing the 21 plate with Inchcape, some of the most exciting new cars to order with a 21 plate and the 70 plate offers available.

The 21 Plate

In 1999, the method of new car registrations changed from a new release once a year to twice a year in March and September, using a numbered system with two numbers.

In March the system uses the number of the year, in 2021 this will be '21', replacing the 70 plate from September 2020. In September, a number is placed before the year code. From 2000-2009, this number was '5', from 2010 to 2019 the number as '6' and from 2020 it as '7' to avoid repetitions. In September 2021 the code will be 71.
