The Audi Q8 combines the elegance of a four-door luxury coupe with the practical versatility of a large SUV. The Q8's exterior design features strong contours which convey a feeling of power whilst the extended wheel arches and body trims emphasize the off-road looks and capability of the Q8. The Audi Q8 is now available as a plug in hybrid which uses a turbocharged 3.0 V6 petrol with a 100kW electric motor. There are two power outputs to choose from; the 55 TFSI and 60 TFSI. Both models feature quattro all wheel drive and an 8 speed automatic gearbox. The 55 features 376bhp which allows 0-62mph in 5.8 seconds. The 60 features 456bhp which reduces the 0-62mph time to 5.4 seconds. 

The Q8 TFSI-e can be driven on electric power alone for up to 28 miles. On longer drives, the Q8 can use navigation data to plan when to use electric or combustion power to ensure maximum performance and efficiency.

The SQ8 is a showcase of diesel engine technology, featuring the most powerful diesel on sale in Europe with a 4.0 V8 turbo diesel producing 435PS and 900Nm of torque. The engine has two turbos and an electric-powered compressor (EPC) which counters turbo lag for an instant response. The SQ8 can accelerate from 0-62mph in 4.8 seconds. The SQ8 produces a sonorous exhaust note, amplified with a sound actuator in the exhaust which can be adapted using the Audi drive select. 

Not only is the SQ8 powerful it is also efficient with a range of efficiency technology. The 48-volt electrical system can recuperate energy and allow the SQ8 to coast with the engine off for up to 40 seconds. As a result the SQ8 can achieve 30.7mpg.

The RSQ8 is the pinnacle of the Audi and Q8 range. With a 4.0 V8 TFSI engine producing 600 PS, the RSQ8 can accelerate from 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 155mph. The RSQ8 features a range of upgrades such as the Sports Quattro system with sports differential which provides permeant all wheel drive whilst power can be adapted to each wheel to aid handling and performance. Further enhancing the handling is the electronically controlled RS air suspension with stiffer adaptive dampers which regulate ride height and damping automatically.
