Safety Checks

We'll carry out a free Body and Safety Check on your BMW every time it comes in for any kind of work. But if you'd like a check done before your car's next scheduled piece of work, simply book one in for free.

Checked for your peace of mind

None of the work is mandatory, we just want to help you ensure your car is safe, reliable and running at its optimum performance.

Checked by our experts

Our manufacturer trained technicians will carry out a 33-point check of items that are currently part of the Ministry of Transport (MOT) test. These include:

  • Bodywork
  • Brakes
  • Tyres
  • Exhaust
  • Steering
  • Suspension
  • Lights
  • Fluid Level

Our transparent process includes an online video of your safety check for your peace of mind

Your Service Advisor will then provide you with an online video of the safety check, filmed by our trained technicians, so you see exactly what we can. The report highlights what, if any, work needs completing immediately or in the future and is based on the following traffic light system:

  • Red - Due to safety reasons, this needs to be completed as a matter of urgency (eg. dangerously worn brakes)
  • Amber - Acts as an indicator that attention is required in the near future. (eg. tyre 80% worn)
  • Green - All okay and in good working order.

Plus, every time your BMW visits our workshop, we will complete a complimentary wash and vacuum.

To book a complimentary vehicle safety check, including a complimentary online video of the inspection, wash and vacuum contact your nearest Inchcape BMW retailer today.
