THE BMW S7 TRACKSTAR.
The BMW S7 Trackstar is a small electronic device that's
installed in your car. It combines the latest navigational
technology, such as GPS and GSM, with an integrated
motion detector. If your car is stolen, the unit can be
activated and tracking can begin.
THE BMW S5 TRACKSTAR.
The BMW S5 Trackstar has a unique wireless tag
paired with the tracking device. If this tag isn't present,
the system will send an alarm to the monitoring centre
when the car's driven away. You'll then receive a call to
verify the situation If it is a theft, the recovery process
for your car will begin immediately.
THE BMW S5 TRACKSTAR ADVANCE.
The BMW Trackstar Cat 6 Advance uses an electronic
key-tag to provide an advanced level of theft prevention.
Issued alongside the car key, it connects with the in-car
system to confirm that you're the owner of the car.
If someone manages to get hold of your car key,
the ignition won't start without your personal key-tag.
THE BMW TRACKSTAR 5.
The BMW Trackstar 5 (previously accredited as a Cat 5)
operates in the same way as the BMW S5 Trackstar
but incorporates the added benefit of an Advance
Driver Recognition tag. If someone's driving your
car without the tag, the unit will immediately know
to alert the Control Centre. Your car can then be
remotely immobilised under police supervision.
