Attention Grabber

The BMW X6 is built to move. With powerful, muscular contours, the BMW X6 exudes irrepressible dynamics and determination. Its broad shoulders and solid stance reflect its X genes, while the coupé-like roofline underpins the unmistakable character of the BMW X6. A combination that makes this Sports Activity Coupé so unique.

Driver Oriented

Clear structures. Exclusive sportiness. High-quality craftsmanship. The interior of the BMW X6 is carefully thought through, right down to the last detail. In typical BMW style, the cockpit is fully orientated towards the driver, who enjoys an excellent overview thanks to the elevated seating position.

Supremely Balanced

The chassis is majestic. Thanks to its wide track and five-arm rear axle, the BMW X6 impresses with excellent road handling. At the same time, it is extremely comfortable – with no compromises in dynamics.

Size and agility aren’t supposed to go hand in hand this well. BMW have broken that rule. The X6 invites you to enjoy a comfortable sports car environment reinforced by exquisite performance both on and off road.

BMW have achieved the impossible with the X6’s exterior. The dominance of an SAV moulded with a coupé’s silhouette. This is an exterior loaded with all the hallmarks of quality craftsmanship; an elegant crease line stretches from the brake lights, through both sets of door handles and blends seamlessly into the front wing. Yet with a huge double kidney grille, sweeping double headlights and an imposingly wide stance, this is a car every bit as mean as it is beautiful.

The BMW X6 stands in a league of its own. Here, BMW have ingenuously combined the muscle and sheer impact of a sports activity vehicle with the grace and athleticism of a coupé. And it’s a revelation.

It’s such a game-changer they had to create a new class for it; the Sports Activity Coupé.

The chassis design of this irresistible car is fundamentally coupé; a low sloping roof and unmistakably smooth silhouette. And yet, somehow, it stands broad, imposing and solid in equal measure. But it’s once the terrain gets tough that the X6 shatters all boundaries. With excellent all-wheel drive traction, the X6 is everything you need from a Sports Activity Vehicle and more.
When you pause to consider it, the BMW X6 shouldn't really have caused such controversy. It's a bit like getting hot under the collar about a 3 Series Coupe when you can buy a perfectly practical 3 Series Touring for less. They're not the same thing, the buyers aren't the same and BMW ought to be congratulated for having the savvy to spot this latent demand. Even if it's not your thing, and there are many who will put their hand up to that, the X6 deserves a certain measure of respect. This second generation model doesn't diverge too markedly from the template laid down by its predecessor. It's just better in every measurable regard; more powerful, more economical, quicker, bigger and less polluting. It's also built of superior materials, is arguably a bit better looking and comes with some tempting high-tech options. Admire it for what it is. The X6 isn't going away.
