- Inchcape will contact you to arrange delivery at a time and place that suits you free of charge, anywhere within mainland UK.

We’re so confident in the pricing of our cars that we offer a Price Promise on all of our Signature Direct Cars, so if you can find an identical car with a like for like price and package within 7 days then we will match it.
A genuine written retail quotation must be provided from a UK main dealer, with a car of identical specification, service history package, model year and within 2,000 mileage difference. (Excluding imports) Retail customers only.
The benefit of buying a car through Inchcape Signature Direct is that you do not need to see the car before buying it as we conduct a series of checks for you and provide you with a full description of the condition in the advert. Buying a car 'at a distance' also means you have the added protection of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and you have the right to return the car and receive a refund or exchange it within 14 days if you are not completely satisfied.
If you do wish to see the car before you buy it, please contact us and we may be able to arrange a visit at our site in Burton. Even though seeing the car prior to purchase means it is no longer a ‘distance sale’ we shall honour the same 14 day money back guarantee if you are not satisfied.
Yes, all cars have a full service history. We will send you the full service history upon payment of your final balance.
Yes your car will be delivered to you with a full 12 month MOT. The delivery driver will provide you with the MOT certificate but you can also check the status to the MOT via https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-status
Yes, you can upgrade your warranty for up to 36 months for an additional premium. You can discuss the premium and the cover in more detail with an advisor when you contact us.
All Inchcape warranties, whether the standard 3 months included in the purchase price or an optional upgrade for up to 36 months at an additional cost, include the following:
- Comprehensive coverage of parts and labour, with no mileage restrictions after purchase;
- 12 months Inchcape Assist breakdown cover, including Roadside Assistance, Recovery and at Home;
- 12 months MOT Guarantee, paying up to £500 towards repairs for MOT failure items.
The warranties provided are subject to additional terms and conditions.
We use all reasonable attempts to provide you with as much information as possible about the car so that you are aware of what you are buying. Our adverts shall include in the description and photographs any visible damage or scratches to the car. As with any used car, it is expected and accepted that there may be some minor damage and scratches in line with the car's age and mileage but we shall provide you with as much information as is possible regarding the car's condition.
You also benefit from a comprehensive safety inspection and the car being prepared by trained and experienced technicians plus a HPI and mileage check. All tyres, including the spare tyre, will have a minimum of 3mm of tread depth when it is delivered to you.
Yes, the car will be taxed for 12 months when we deliver the car to you. The cost of the appropriate tax for the specific vehicle will be added to the cost of the car.
Anywhere in mainland UK. We're happy to deliver your car to your home, or your place of work, whatever is most convenient to you. All we ask is that you are available to accept the vehicle at the time agreed and have photo ID available.
There is no cost to deliver the car to one delivery address anywhere in mainland UK.
There are a number of payment options available to you to purchase the car.
We work with finance partners to provide tailored finance packages for you. You can apply for finance over the phone, tailoring the term and amount of deposit to generate the right finance deal for you. You can also choose to include the cost of your road fund tax for the initial year and any additional warranty costs should you decide to upgrade your warranty.
You can also pay in full for the car by electronic bank transfer or we can accept credit and debit card payments.
The finance company will normally lend up to the value of the car plus any road fund licence and extended warranty, however any restrictions they may apply will be communicated to you before you are asked to sign your agreement.
Payments will usually begin one month after signing your agreement.
