I have mixed feelings about the service I received - I thought the sales team were great and of course I love my Mini. But today I learned that my 2017 plate car which had been sold to another lady and returned to the Mini forecourt soon after, for reasons unrelated to the car has in fact got 2014 tyres on it! From what I can gather, the car was brand new out of the factory with shiny new tyres, sent off to the first owner, upon its return to Mini a few months later Mini took off the lovely new tyres and sold it to me with OLD TYRES! One of which has had a slow puncture since I purchase the car. This isn’t acceptable and just seems like a typical car dealership sticking to their stereotypes of SCAMMING PEOPLE! I am happy with my car so ultimately, yes, I would recommend purchasing a Mini but my recommendation would be to ask all the questions and be cautious at the point of sale, as this has disappointed me and is now going to cost me a lot more money than I had anticipated with the current climate and lockdown this will be a struggle

The whole team at Ipswich are friendly, efficient, and great at their jobs. A visit there is more personal and focused on you than in the nearer to me Norwich branch; partly due to the fact that the showroom is smaller and more intimate but also because it shows that the staff enjoy their work. Noel and Jamie in particular ensured I was kept informed, answered my questions, worked hard to sort out the problems I had with my current Mini so we could enjoy a night away and made buying my lovely new Mini a great experience. Good to see Adam Rednall again too and I appreciated him coming to have a chat. This is my third Mini and it is in no small part due to the enthusiasm of the team that I keep coming back. One very happy customer here.

Exceeding expectations is what Cooper MINI Ipswich is all about. I’ve owned 30+ cars over the last 30 years & have always been let down by an independent or main dealer almost every time. In the past, I’ve always experienced the usual stereotypical scenario of driving off the forecourt with the relationship ending right there, no-one seems to care...Cooper MINI Ipswich are an exception to the rule. I first encountered Niall in September 2019 & upon meeting him, I had a gut feeling that he would do the right thing by me. I have never met a Sales Executive so genuine & interested in what he can do to help. Based on my gut, I revisited Niall in January & it was the best car-decision I have ever made. He gave us an extremely fair price on our part exchange, which I wasn’t expecting after being bitten before by dealers, & at the same time, he secured our fully-loaded, dream, MINI Convertible Cooper S, which had to be delivered from Cooper MINI Sunderland. Once the MINI arrived, Niall invited me into the dealership to introduce me to the car, walked round with me to inspect the vehicle & noted any work that needed doing to get things right. In fact, his keen eye had already spotted the same things as me & he was very honest about the car’s condition. There was no discussion about fixing any imperfections - I was told everything would be done without question & a date would be set for collection - impressive. I consequently made another visit to arrange payment & my little boy tagged along . The team made him feel welcome & showed a genuine interest, something he’ll always remember, which goes a long way in our book. Niall kept me updated at every stage of the transaction & we picked up our new MINI yesterday, on my wife’s birthday...seriously, WOW! This used car was like it had just come out of the factory, totally immaculate - I have honestly never experienced anything like it & was lost for words. The attention to detail was like nothing I’ve ever seen. Niall could tell he’d made us very happy & that’s all he needed to see - it’s not just about the transaction for him. I asked to be introduced to the Business Managers Adam & Noel, as we wanted to express our gratitude - these individuals were genuinely thankful for our business & reassured us that if we needed anything going forward to just get in touch. The Service Manager, David, is also attentive & will do whatever he can to enhance the experience of owning a MINI, without compromise - this is an important factor when thinking about the future. Andrew & Lauren at the Service Desk are also efficient & personable, which gives that extra peace of mind. Cooper MINI Ipswich have made it quite clear that it’s not all about the car, it’s about the people & the relationship built around their experience. I’ve never found individuals like this in the motor trade industry & quite frankly have been blown away. I know this is a long review, but the whole experience has made such a positive impact on our lives, others should know. Give the team a try, you will not be disappointed. I recently dealt with Noel and Jamie during the purchase of my lovely new MINI! From start to finish the entire process was easy and nothing but professional!
