CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR)

Charity of the year

Alzeihmers society

At Inchcape, we believe in giving something back to the communities in which we operate. Each year we select a ‘Charity of the Year’ and allow our colleagues to choose who we support by way of a staff vote.

In 2018, Alzheimer’s Society was chosen by our colleagues.

Working with our chosen charity partner is very important to us, as we care about making a difference. All of our colleagues are invited to support our charity partner and get involved with fundraising by organising events at their sites. We set a company-wide target for the year and everyone works together to achieve this fundraising goal.

BEN

ben

As part of the automotive industry, Inchcape also supports BEN, the UK’s automotive and related industries’ charity. BEN helps over 15,000 men, women and children every year, providing advice, friendship, financial assistance and support for a wide range of issues.

BEN acts as a benevolent fund for people that work within the motor industry. For more information please visit www.ben.org.uk

Volunteer day

We also offer our colleagues a paid volunteer day each year, so they can take time out to support our chosen charity, or a charity of their own choice.

Inchcape cares about the role it plays within the local community and our teams appreciate the value of establishing trusted relationships with customers and businesses alike in their local areas.
