It’s a new year, which means the most prestigious automotive brands will soon be launching a whole host of new models – and we can’t wait!
In recent years, there has been increasing focus on a sustainable future, and therefore many of the biggest upcoming launches are electric and hybrid models. This will undoubtedly add an interesting dynamic to the market this year and in the future, and allow consumers to experience the industry in a way they never have before.
We’ve selected a handful of new models due to launch in 2020 that we’re particularly looking forward to and that we think you’ll love. You never know, one of these could be your next set of wheels…
BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé
Spring 2020 will see the arrival of the first ever BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé. Its modern-yet-classic BMW appearance is athletic and refined - and that’s just the exterior. Inside, the driver-orientated cockpit is equipped with state-of the-art technology, including BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant which comes as standard on M Sport and M235i models. The 2 Series Gran Coupé is as powerful as you would expect from a BMW, with the highest spec model variant reaching 0-62mph in a rapid 4.8 seconds. All we can say is, prepare yourself for an exhilarating ride.
Land Rover Defender
The familiar silhouette makes the Defender immediately identifiable as a Land Rover, but the rounded headlights and sharp design lines offer an individual and distinctive look. Land Rover are famous for creating strong and durable vehicles that can easily tackle tricky terrains and the Defender lives up to that legendary reputation. All wheel drive and shortened front and rear overhangs offer supreme capability, and because the Defender has been tested and challenged in the most extreme conditions, the sheer strength of this car make it the toughest Land Rover yet.
