BMW Model Upgrades for Spring 2017

BMW must keep upgrading and offering new features that keep its cars at the head of the market.

So for 2017, BMW has unveiled what it will be adding to your favourite models to ensure your BMW experience is further improved.

To help make the ever-popular 5 Series even more worthwhile, the 520d EfficienctDynamic Edition provides the same driving pleasure but reduces the levels of CO2 produced to offer a cleaner drive. When paired to the eight-speed Steptronic gearbox, it can produce as little as 102g/km CO2 while having an output of 190bhp and a 0-60mph time of 7.3 seconds. AdBlue technology is also fitted to provide further environmental friendliness by reducing NOx emissions.

For a more intuitive navigation system layout, BMW has made the display cleaner and simpler with a tile-style outlook. Other options have also been added, including ‘Messages’, which allows emails and texts to be sent directly to the main screen with your phone connected to the iDrive system.

As one of the world’s best luxury saloons, the 7 Series is being improved further by the option to fit the Driving Assistant Plus system, which adds steering and lane guidance assistant, ActiveAssist collision avoidance system and cross traffic alert, amongst many others. This will help to promote the reputation of ever-improving 7 Series, which many consider to be the top premium saloon on the market.

In the spring, the 6 Series’ exterior design will be updated to give a fresher look and BMW will also add extra options to give more customisation, and for the 3 and 4 Series, the multifunctional instrument display will be modified so that it changes the featured dials depending on the driving mode you are in.

Other changes will be made to the BMW range throughout the year, and to stay up-to-date with them, contact your nearest Cooper BMW Centre.
