Introducing Ben
Ben is the charity dedicated to supporting the people of the automotive industry, providing support for life for them and their family dependents.
Ben provides life-changing support to those facing crisis as well as helping them prevent crisis. Ben’s support empowers people to be more in control of managing their health and wellbeing to help them live well, think well, feel well and work well. Ben supports individuals to navigate through life’s challenges, empowering them to make positive, lasting change. Ben works with people to improve their lives by enhancing their health and wellbeing through its free and confidential online self-help, helpline and support services.
Ben also operates continuing care and support for those in later life, which isn’t dependent on an automotive industry connection, via its residential care centres, day centre and retirement village.

Inchcape's Donation to Ben
Like all other retailers across the country, Inchcape UK have recognised the difficulties everyone has faced throughout 2020.
In a pledge to support the health and wellbeing of their colleagues, and others in the automotive industry, Inchcape UK have donated £10,000 to automotive industry charity, Ben.
James Brearley, CEO of Inchcape UK, said: ‘As a leader I knew I had to support our colleagues both at work and in their personal lives during this pandemic. We did everything we could to make sure everyone felt supported, and Ben have helped us with this. I can’t commend the work that Ben does enough.
‘The services that Ben offer are phenomenal and I know so many of our colleagues in the industry would agree that the help they received from Ben has made living with the pandemic that bit easier.
‘This gesture from Inchcape will hopefully help to keep Ben running and supporting as many people in the automotive industry as they can. And I really look forward to working with the team there in 2021.’
